Farmers' Market Etiquette 101

With the start of the market just days away, here are some do's and don't to keep in mind.



The Powell River Farmers' Market operates under the Powell River & District Agricultural Association.  The market have been in operation for 29 years and is one of the few farmers' market with a permanent setup featuring wooden booths and a food barn.

Situated in beautiful Paradise Valley, the market is a short drive from "downtown Powell River" and less than a 15 minute walk from the bus stop.  See maps below.

If you're taking the bus, access the market from Myrtle Ave, walk about 3/4 ways down the road, past the horses and you'll see a sign that says "Vendor Parking Only".  Follow the driveway and it will drop you right into the heart of the market.

Our Farmers' Market has been operating since 1987, that gives us 36 years under our belt. We are inspired by all the people that help make every market a success. That includes YOU!
