Our Farmers' Market has been operating since 1987, that gives us 36 years under our belt. We are inspired by all the people that help make every market a success. That includes YOU!

People are at the heart of everything we do.

1. Support from local farmers and vendors: we rely on the participation of local farmers and vendors to provide a variety of fresh, locally-sourced products to our customers.
2.  Community engagement: we function as a community hub, providing a space for people to gather, socialize, and connect with their local food system. 
3.  Promoting sustainable agriculture: we prioritize products that are grown using sustainable practices, which helps support local farmers and preserves the environment. 
4.  Flexibility: For our first 33 years we were a spring and summer market only. Now we're rolling through our 3rd season of being open during the late fall and winter too, making us a year-round market. In the summer we're open on Saturdays from 10:30 - 12:30 and Sundays 12:30 - 2:30

Well we've got our early risers who want to start their weekend with the freshest shopping available, they like to come early on Saturdays and leave the rest of the weekend for other engagements. We've also got a great crowd that enjoys a later start, so our Sunday market caters to the lunch-time crowd. 
5. Sustainability:  These factors work together to create a sustainable and successful model for our farmers market, which enables it to continue operating and providing fresh, locally-sourced products to our community.

Remember to join us every Sunday during Feb - April.  There's always plenty of hot food and drinks, delicious baking, fresh local produce, friends and vendors to visit with and beautiful things to see and buy.
