The market takes place at 4365 McLeod Road, Powell River, BC
Saturdays 10:30 am - 12:30pm (May -  Sept) 
 Sundays 12:30pm - 2:30pm (Year Round)
Fall Fair  Mid/Late September.  Sat/Sun from noon - 5pm
 A copy of the contract terms will be emailed to you when your application is approved. 
We adhere to the following standards based on our membership with the BC Association of Farmers' Markets (BCAFM).

You must make, bake, grow or wild harvest your products.

Kids under 16 may apply (products must be made solely by the kids) and no fees are charged.

Not permitted for sale:
  • Livestock
  • Any products containing CBD.
  • Local businesses with an existing storefront (except for farmers)

Government Standard for ORGANIC in effect.
Any product that can qualify as food, feed or seed must NOT contain the word ORGANIC on any sign, name or label. This includes any words with the root ORGANIC in them as well. The product (or farm) must have the organic certification process completed before the word organic can be used. If you produce a product that contains organic ingredients, you may only use the word organic in the ingredients list. If you're unsure please ask before creating signage or labels.


The Powell River Farmers' Market is comprised exclusively of vendors who grow, make, bake, raise or wild harvest the products they sell.  All products must be locally made and approved by the Market Committee. (There are some exceptions for the Fall Fair) No more than 5% of our total vendors can come from outside the qathet Regional District or City of Powell River. We are required by the BCAFM to have +51% of our vendors be farmers, prepared food or ready-to-eat food vendors. If you are applying as an artisan you may be placed on a waiting list or experience a delay in your approval as we adhere to these standards. (This does not apply for the Fall Fair)

Our Farmers' Market has been operating since 1987, that gives us 36 years under our belt. We are inspired by all the people that help make every market a success. That includes YOU!
